The music for the film has been composed by Harris-Jayaraj. The lurics have been written by Seetharama Sastry, Chandra Bose and Sahithi. All the songs have been picturised at exotic locales. The canning of one song costed 1.75 Crores.
Vishal is acting as a police officer in the film, while Nayanatara plays the role of a TV anchor. Rajasekhar is making his debut as director with this bilingual film.
Salute is slated for release on August 15, 2008.
